Salem Lutheran Church

Church council will meet at the church in Thursday, March 20th at 7 pm.

Our next Buckwheat/Regular Pancake and Whole Hog Sausage fundraiser will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025. It will run from 7 am until 5 pm (or until sold out). Cost is $10 for adults,, $5 for children 6-10, 5 and under our free. This event is at the Salem Community building which is across the road from the church.

All proceeds go to the church’s general fund and are used to help others and support our church’s mission.

It’s “Souper Bowl” time again. Please consider donating cans of soup to the Knox Caring Cupboard. Soup, along with broth, canned pasta and crackers, are requested items. You can also make monetary donations directly to the food cupboard. Please mark it on your check and/or envelope.

We are hoping to bring home the travelling trophy to have the most donation in the Knox Ministerium. Collection dates are February 9, 16 and 23.

The next Bible study will be on Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 pm at St. Pauls

We will be having our annual congregational meeting on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The meeting will take place immediately after the 9 am weekly service.

Game Night will be Saturday, January 21, 2024 at 6 pm. Bring games and a side dish or dessert to share. Ham barbecue sandwiches and drinks will be provided. All are welcome!

The next packing day for food bags for Keystone Elementary School is February 11, 2024 after the church service. A sign up sheet for donations is located in the back of the church.

The next church council meeting is Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 7 pm.
